Navigating Poly-Crises

Navigating through poly-crises towards One Health: Mirage or tangible prospect?

We live in times of polycrises. The question is how to deal with them. This publication advocates a transdisciplinary strategy that integrates different perspectives to address complex issues such as polycrises. Dealing with today's crises requires moving beyond one-dimensional, exclusively scientific approaches.

Willingness to vaccinate

Willingness to receive an annual COVID-19 booster vaccine in the German-speaking D-A-CH region in Europe: A cross-sectional study

New coronaviruses and waning immunity may mean regular vaccines are needed, but data on people's willingness to vaccinate is limited. We surveyed 3,067 German-speaking adults in the D-A-CH region. 82.4% of the 2,480 vaccinated or planning to be vaccinated were willing to receive an annual booster.

Conspiracy Thinking

Association of personality traits and socio‐environmental factors with COVID‐19 pandemic‐related conspiratorial thinking in the D‐A‐CH region

Misinformation, lack of trust and uncertainty during the COVID-19 pandemic fostered the emergence of new conspiracy theories. Our findings highlight the importance of promoting understanding of complexity through targeted interventions, such as in educational settings, to help curb the spread of conspiracy theories.
